A RESOLUTION OF INTENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REGARDING INITIATION OF THE PREPARATION OF
SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT 88-02A
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 314-632-45 AND 46
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of the Poway Municipal
Code (Zoning Development Code) provides for the initiation preparation, adoption
and amendment of specific plans in accordance with Section 65450, et. seq., of
the California Government Code {Article 8 Specific Plans); and
WHEREAS, Section 17.47.020b (Amendment) of the Poway Zoning Development Code
provides that the City Council may initiate the preparation of an amendment to a
Specific Plan in accordance with the Specific Plan Regulations of the City of
Poway Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the property subject to Specific Plan 88-02 as depicted on
Attachment 1, includes two adjoining, undeveloped parcels of land having a com-
bined area of .69 acres, more specifically defined as Assessor's Parcel Number
314-632-45 and 46 and said parcels are currently owned by Sun Coast Homes, Inc.
according to the latest secured assessment roll of property in the County of San
Diego, California, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby deem necessary and desirable that an
amendment to Specific Plan 88-02 be initiated.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby initiates the preparation of Specific Plan Amendment 88-02A for the prop-
erty shown on Attachment i hereto.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 5th day of December, 1989.
