A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ADOPTING THE 1988 REGIONAL STANDARD DRAWINGS WITH THE CITY OF POWAY
SUPPLEMENT, AND THE 1988 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS
CONSTRUCTION WITH THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY REGIONAL SUPPLEMENT AMENDMENTS
AND THE CITY OF POWAY SUPPLEMENT AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, Section 12 of the Poway Municipal Code requires that all dedi-
cated and non-dedicated streets be designed and constructed to City and
Regional Standard Drawings; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest to establish uniform guide-
lines for construction of public, private, and capital improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Standard Drawings and the Standard Specifications
for Public Works Construction have been adopted by other local public agen-
cies; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway wishes to amend certain Regional Standard
Drawings and certain sections of the Standard Specifications for Public
Works Constr~ction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
that the 1988 edition of the Regional Standard Drawings as amended by the
City of Poway Supplement, and the 1988 edition of the Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construction as amended by the City of
Poway Supplement, and the County of San Diego Regional Supplement
Amendments, on file with the City Clerk, are hereby adopted as the guideli-
nes for design and construction of public, private, and capital improve-
ments.
FURTHERMORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does hereby
authorize the City Engineer to make minor amendments from time to time as
he deems necessary.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 27th day of February, 1990.
