A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING LOTS A AND B,
OF RANCHO POWAY UNIT NO. 1, MAP 6118, FOR
STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF THE
ABUTTER'S RIGHTS OF ACCESS RELINQUISHED AND WAIVED
IN AND TO CICERO WAY PER MAP NO. 6118
WHEREAS, on Rancho Poway Unit No. 1 recorded June 5, 1968, as Map No. 6118
in the office of the San Diego County Recorder, there is offered for dedication
for public street purposes Lots A and B along the westerly edge of Cicero Way,
and
WHEREAS, on said Map No. 6118, the County of San Diego rejected the offer of
dedication on said Lots A and B, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of the final map
of City of Poway Tract No. 87-06, it is in the best interest of the City of
Poway that said Lots A and B be now accepted for public use for street purposes,
and
WHEREAS, on Rancho Poway Unit No. 1, recorded in the Office of the
County recorder as Map No. 6118, there were relinquished and waived abutter's
rights of access from Lot A in and to Cicero Way, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of the final map
of City of Poway Tract No. 87-06, there is no longer any reasons for those
relinquished and waived abutter's rights of access to remain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said Lots A and B,
and does hereby accept for public use for street purposes the following:
Lots A and B designated as "Lots A and B reserved for future street" on
Rancho Poway Unit No. 1 recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, as Map No. 6118.

The City Council hereby finds the previously relinquished and waived
abutter's rights of access across said Lot A in and to Cicero Way are
hereby vacated.
The City Clerk of the City of Poway is authorized and directed to cause
a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.
