A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
TO INCLUDE RECOMMENDED CHANGES
TO REDUCE FEES FOR A SOLICITOR'S LICENSE
AND A SOLICITOR'S IDENTIFICATION CARD
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 66016 et seq. establishes
procedures for the adoption of fees for services by local government; and
WHEREAS, on May 4, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 10 -017,
adopting a Master Schedule of Fees, which included fees for the Administrative Services
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is establishing a reduction in fees for a Solicitor's
License application and renewal and a Solicitor's Identification Card application and
renewal to encourage mobile food truck and other solicitation business operations in the
City of Poway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
The City Council finds that this amendment to the Master Fee Schedule is exempt from the
requirements of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15273 (a) (1).
The City Council hereby modifies the Administrative Services section of the Master Fee
Schedule by the proposed changes below:
1. Solicitor's License fee is reduced from $105 to $50
2. Solicitor's Identification Card fee is reduced from $105 to $50
3. Solicitor's License renewal fee is reduced from $105 to $20 every two years
4. Solicitor's Identification Card renewal fee is reduced from $105 to $20 every two
years
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at a
regular meeting this 5th day of March 2013.
