A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
REMOVING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS
ON OAK KNOLL ROAD BETWEEN CARRIAGE ROAD
AND POMERADO ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code permits local authorities
to establish "No Parking" zones; and
WHEREAS, Poway Municipal Code Section 10.28.080 allows City Council to
prohibit or restrict parking; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that certain changes should be made in
the presently established parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
Section 1: In accordance with said Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, the
parking restrictions shall be removed on the north side of Oak Knoll Road in front of 12532-
12612 Oak Knoll Road for a distance of 600 feet.
Section 2: In accordance with said Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, the
parking restrictions shall be removed on the south side of Oak Knoll Road in front of 12529
& 12547-12551 Oak Knoll Road for a distance of 450 feet.
Section 3: In accordance with said Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code,
parking shall be allowed along the newly built curb improvements on the south side of Oak
Knoll Road east of 12643 Oak Knoll Road for a distance of 800 feet.
Section 4: In accordance with said Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, the
parking restrictions shall be removed on the south side of Oak Knoll Road in front of
12425, 12455, & 12509 Oak Knoll Road for a distance of 600 feet.
