Notice of Preparation of the EIR, Responses
and Other Public Outreach
A public scoping meeting to receive input on the scope of the EIR was held at the Poway
Community Park Auditorium on November 19, 2003, and the Notice of Preparation (NOP) of the
EIR was filed with the County of San Diego Clerk on December 31, 2003. Responses to the
NOP were received from two state agencies, one regional organization and one private
association. In addition, although not part of the formal CEQA Process, additional public
outreach with conducted by the City in 2008 and 2009.
This appendix is organized as follows:
