A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF A
CERTAIN ONE-FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND LYING WITHIN COUNTY OF
SAN DIEGO TRACT 3773 MAP NO. 9630 AND ORDERING THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE ABUTTER'S RIGHTS OF ACCESS
RELINQUISHED AND WAIVED IN AND TO JANETTE LANE PER MAP NO. 9630
WHEREAS, on County of San Diego Tract 3773 recorded April 22, 1980, as Map
No. 9630 in the office of the County Recorder, there is offered for dedication
for public street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip along the northerly
boundary of Janette Lane, and
WHEREAS, on said Map No. 9630, the County of San Diego rejected the offer of
dedication on said one-foot wide strip, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of the final map
of City of Poway Tract Map No. 86-04, it is in the best interest of the City of
Poway that a portion of said one-foot wide strip, as hereinafter more particu-
larly described, be now accepted for public use for street purposes, and
WHEREAS, on County of San Diego Tract 3773, recorded in the Office of the
County recorder as Map No. 9630, there wer~ relinquished and waived abutter's
rights of access in and to the northerly side of Janette Lane, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of the final map
of City of Poway Tract Map No. 86-04, there is no longer any reason for a por-
tion of those relinquished and waived abutter's rights of access to remain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of a portion of said
strip, and does hereby accept for public use for street purposes the
following:
a. The westerly 360.00 feet of Lot B designated as "reserved for future
street" on County of San Diego Tract 3773 recorded April 22, 1980 as Map
No. 963D in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
California.
The City Council hereby finds the previously relinquished and waived
abutter's rights of access across said westerly 360.00 foot portion of
Lot B in and to Janette Lane are hereby vacated.

The City Clerk of the City of Poway is authorized and directed to cause
a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.
