Res 90-141RESOLUTION NO. 90-141 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA DENYING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT/ZONE CHANGE 90-02B WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may arise to amend the City's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government Code describes the procedures for amending the city's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Chen, applicant, has initiated a General Plan Amendment/Zone Change 90-02B for a redesignation of land use and zoning for an approximate 2.30 gross acre parcel (APN 321-190- 28), located south of Twin Peaks Road and east of Roberto Rio Road; and WHEREAS, the application proposes a change zoning from Residential Single Family - 4 (3-4 Commercial Neighborhood; and in land use and du/net acre) to WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accordance with California Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act to consider that request; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment/zone change would result in a land use designation that is not compatible with the adjacent residential land uses. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby deny Poway General Plan Amendment/Zone Change 90-02B.
