A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE REVISED/UPDATED BY-LAWS
AND JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT OF THE
AUTOMATED REGIONAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1990, the City of Poway determined
that there is a need for continued operation, maintenance, en-
hancement and implementation of the Automated Regional Justice
Information System in order to provide improved law enforcement
capabilities to the San Diego region by an effective and
efficient use of electronic data processing technology capabili-
ties; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway believes that the joint exercise
of their powers will provide an agency capable of continuing the
operation, maintenance and implementation of the Automated Re-
gional Justice Information System.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES
HEREBY agree to amend the agreement by adding the revised/updated
by-laws and Joint Powers Agreement of the Automated Regional
Justice Information System.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the
City of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 25
th day of September, 1990.
