A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE
ALONG PORTIONS OF SYCAMORE AVENUE
ADJACENT TO OLD POWAY PARK
SOUTHERLY OF AUBREY STREET
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code permits
the establishment of "No Standing or Parking" Zones in the City of
Poway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a "No Standing
or Parking" Zone would help preserve the residential nature of
Sycamore Avenue westerly of Old Poway Park; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a "No Standing
or Parking" Zone should be established along Sycamore Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with said
Section 22507, the following "No Standing or Parking" Zone is
hereby established:
Along both sides of Sycamore Avenue beginning at the southerly
extended edgeline of Aubrey Street, thence southerly a distance of
510 feet; excepting therefrom a segment on the westerly side of
Sycamore Avenue beginning at the southerly extended edgeline of
Aubrey Street thence southerly a distance of 425 feet.
