Res 90-226RESOLUTION NO. 90~26 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P0WAY, CALIFORNIA, ~,!~.,~ ESTABLISHING A SENIOR DAY PARKING, FISHING, AND BOAT RENTAL FEE AT LAKE POWAY AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 88-006 AND 88-067 WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a parking fee for the Lake Poway Recreation Area; and WHEREAS, the City Council has also previously adopted an annual nonresident parking permit fee at Lake Poway Recreation Area; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a Senior Day reduced parking, fishing, and boat rental fee on Thursdays at Lake Poway; and WHEREAS, in order to establish said Lake Poway Senior Day fee, it is necessary to rescind Resolution No. 88-006 and 88-067. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby approve the following schedule of fees at Lake Poway Recreation Area effective January 3, 1991: 1. FISHING PERMITS Adult (age 16 and over) Poway Resident Nonresident Seniors (55 & over) Youth (age 8 to 15) $3.50/day 4.00/day 2.00/day (Thursday only) 2.00/day Children under 8 years may fish for free, if the accompanying adult has a valid permit. 3. BOAT RENTAL full day motor boat $12.00/day Seniors (55 & over) 9.00/day (Thursday only) full day rowboat 5.00/day Seniors (55 & over) 4.00/day (Thursday only) half day motor boat (after 12 noon) 9.00 Seniors (55 & over) 6.00 (Thursday only) half day rowboat (after 12 noon) 4.00 Seniors (55 & Over) 3.00 (Thursday only) Resolution No. 90-226 Page 2 4e Se Nonresidents - Members of nonprofit service clubs or organizations Service clubs or organizations as defined in Section 2.11 of the Rules and Regulations for operation of City of Poway recreational facilities use is for a viable charitable cause. The request must be approved by the Director of Community Services. Upon approval, the Community Services Department will issue parking passes valid only on the day of the function, to be distributed in advance by the organization to nonresident group members. Members not presenting a parking pass at the park entrance must pay all fees applicable to general nonresidents. Nonresidents - Employees of businesses/for-profit aqencies located within the City of Powa¥ a parking fee of $1 per vehicle shall be collected from nonresident employees of businesses or for-profit agencies located within the limits of the city of Poway when attending functions sponsored by said agency. An application for facility use must be submitted by the agency and approved by the Director of Community Services. Parking passes must be purchased in advance and distributed by the agency to nonresident employees. Employees not presenting a parking pass at the park entrance must pay all fees applicable to general nonresidents. 6e Nonresident Annual Parkinq Permit An annual nonresident parking permit at $50 for the first automobile and $10 for any additional automobile in the family shall be offered. The parking permit shall be valid for one year from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Resolution No. 88-006 and 88-067 are hereby rescinded.
