Res 91-076RESOLUTION NO. 91-076 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA APPROVING SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENTS 84-01K AND M ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-280-43, 44, AND 46 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq. of the California Government Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and WHEREAS, Section 65450, et seq. of the California Government Code describes the procedures for amending Specific Plans; and WHEREAS, on July 30, 1985, the City Council adopted a resolution approving the South Poway Planned Community; and WHEREAS, Volume II (Development Development Plan contains procedures development plan; and Standards) of the SPPC for amending the subject WHEREAS, the City Council has initiated South Poway Specific Plan Amendments 84-01K and M involving amendments to the text and graphics of the adopted South Poway Planned Community Development Plan (Volume I, Development Plan and Volume II, Development Standards); and WHEREAS, on June 25, 1991, the City Council of the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to consider that request; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the text and graphics of the South Poway Specific Plan (Volumes 1 and 2) as follows: Land Use Redesignation: The following figures shall be amended to reflect the change in land use designated described in Paragraph 2 below. Figure 7 - Figure 8 - (Land Use Concept Plan with Limits of Grading (Land Use Concept Plan) Figure 8a - (Subareas) Figures 9, 10 -(Depicting Subarea 1 and 2) Resolution No. 91-076 Page 2 Proposed Amendments Land Use Designation Change The 21 acre site located east of Community Road and north of Crosthwaite Circle depicted on Attachment 2 of the staff report dated June 25, 1991 shall be redesignated from LI (Light Industrial) to IP (Industrial Park). List of Permitted, Conditional and Prohibited Uses in the IP and LI Land Use Designations Paragraph 9 of the list of permitted uses found on Page 58 of the SPPC Development Standards Volume II shall be revised as follows: 9. Other Uses IP LI Be a. Multiple-tenant, commercial for C X lease office use where such use does not exceed 40 percent of the gross floor area within any building. Parking Standards Paragraph B on Page 51 of the SPPC Development Standards, Volume II shall be revised as follows: Minimum parking requirements: Commercial/office designation 1 space/ 200 square feet of gross floor area Industrial Park designation Light Industrial zone 1 space/ 250 square feet of gross floor area* 1 space/ 500 square feet of floor area Resolution No. 91-076 Page 3 *Parking requirements for accessory storage/ warehouse areas within any building in the IP zone may be calculated at a rate of 1 space/1000 square feet upon submittal and approval of a detailed floor plan which depicts the location and dimensions of storage areas.
