Res 91-123Resolution No. 91-123 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF SERVICE CHARGES AND FEES FOR WATER CONNECTIONS, METERS, AND INSTALLATION OF LATERALS, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 91-102 WHEREAS, the rules and regulations of the former Poway Municipal Water District authorizes the governing body to adopt fees for water connections, expansion of the water system, water meters, installation of water laterals, backflow prevention devices, annual inspection maintenance, repair, replacement, and testing; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 29 adopts by reference the rules and regulations of the former Poway Municipal Water District and authorizes the City Council to act as the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway that: 1. The attached "Schedule of Service Charges and Fees for Water Service" is hereby adopted. The fees adopted herein are to cover the expenses of the City of Poway, its officers, employees, agents, contractors, and assigns, incurred for all engineering, administrative, operational, labor and material, in- cluding all those necessary to process, check, examine, install, test, maintain, inspect, replace, and approve water meters, service laterals and/or mains, backflow prevention devices, valves, valve protection devices, meter protection devices, tertiarty treatment facilities, reclaimed water distribution facilities, and all related appurtenances, and to ascertain or determine their compliance with all applicable local, county, state or federal code, statute, policy or regulation. Resolution No. 91-102 is hereby rescinded effective December 29, 1991. This resolution shall go into effect sixty (60) days after adoption of this resolution.
