A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A TIME RESTRICTED
"LOADING ZONE" ON 9TH STREET
Whereas, Section 21458 and Section 22507 of the California
Vehicle Code permits the establishment of "loading" and "no parking"
zones in the City of Poway; and
whereas, the City Council has determined that a certain
"loading" zone should be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Sections
21458 and 22507 of the California Vehicle Code a "loading" zone is
established on 9th Street in the following location:
Loading Zone: (Time Restricted, enforced from 7-8 A.M.
and 1-2:30 P.M. school days only).
- Along the south side of 9th Street beginning 443 feet west
of the westerly extended curbline of Pomerado Road, thence
westerly a distance of 75 feet; and along the south side of
9th Street beginning 598 feet west of the westerly extended
curbline of Pomerado Road, thence westerly and northerly
around the cul-de-sac a distance of 80 feet.
This action supersedes and rescinds all previously approved
parking restrictions within the areas described above.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California at a regular meeting thereof this 5th day of
November, 1991. ~
