A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" ZONES ON OLIVE GROVE DRIVE,
MARTINCOIT ROAD, OAK KNOLL ROAD, AND SUMMERFIELD LANE
WHEREAS, Section 21458 and Section 22507 of the California
Vehicle Code permits local authorities to establish "no parking"
zones; and
WHEREAS, Poway Municipal Code Section 10.28.080 allows City
Council to prohibit or restrict parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain "no
parking" zones should be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with
section 10.28.080 of the Poway Municipal Code "no parking" zones
are established in the following locations:
No Parking Zone
- Along the south side of Olive Grove Drive beginning at the
westerly extended curbline of Community Road, thence
westerly a distance of 77 feet, and
- Along the east side of Summerfield Lane beginning at the
southerly extended curbline of Espola Road, thence southerly
a distance of 90 feet, and
- Along both sides of Martincoit Road beginning at the
southerly extended curbline of Espola Road, thence southerly
a distance of 110 feet, and
- Along the north side of Oak Knoll Road beginning at the
easterly extended curbline of Pomerado Road, thence easterly
a distance of 180 feet, and
- Along the north side of Oak Knoll Road beginning at the
westerly extended curbline of Pomerado Road, thence westerly
a distance of 405 feet, and
- Along the south side of Oak Knoll Road beginning at
the westerly extended curbline of Pomerado Road, thence
westerly a distance of 190 feet.
This action supersedes and rescinds all previously approved
parking restrictions within the areas described above.
