A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
DELETING THE PRE-DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE FEE
FROM RESOLUTION NO. 91-057
WHEREAS, the Poway City Council, on June 4, 1991 adopted
Resolution No. 91-057 revising the Planning Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now finds it necessary to amend the
Planning Fee Schedule to delete the fee for pre-development
conferences as a processing fee for land use permit applications
authorized by the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway considered this matter at a public
meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment is
not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 66017 requires that the
adoption of development fees or charges or increases in development
fees be effective no sooner that 60 days following final action.
The elimination of a fee established per Sections 66016 through
66018 could be effective immediately.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby amend the Planning Fee Schedule to delete the following:
