A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING A ROAD NAME CHANGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 34091.1, the City Council
may change the existing name of a City street by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to change the name of
State Route 56/North City Parkway to the same name selected for this roadway
within the City of San Diego by the San Diego City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, that the name of State Route 56/North City Parkway from the west
city limits to its terminus at Twin Peaks Road be changed to Ted Williams
Parkway.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this gth day o~ June 1992.
