A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE POWAY HIGH SCHOOL
CAMPUS SUPERVISORS TO ISSUE PARKING CITATIONS WITHIN POWAY HIGH
SCHOOL CAMPUS PARKING LOTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 40202
OF THE VEHICLE CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 40202 contemplates
the authorization of peace officers and other persons to enforce
parking regulations and to cite vehicles for parking violations;
and
WHEREAS, Poway High School Campus Supervisors will be
authorized to only issue parking citations within Poway High
School campus parking lots; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department will
provide parking citation training to all Poway High School Campus
Supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Poway, California, that the Poway High School Campus
Supervisors are hereby authorized to issue parking citations
within Poway High School campus parking lots pursuant to
Section 40202 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California.
PASS, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, by th~ City Council of the City
of Poway, California, at a regu~r meeting this 16th day of
