Res 92-167RESOLUTION NO. 92-167 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT OR ARGUMENTS REGARDING CITY MEASURES AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS WHEREAS, a municipal election is to be held in the City of Poway, California, on November 3, 1992, at which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said City one or more measures. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That this City Council, being the legislative body of the City of Poway, hereby authorizes each of the individuals below named to file a written argument or arguments relating to the City measures set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5, of the Elections Code of the State of California and Sections 4015, 5010, 5011 and 5013, and to change said argument or arguments until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against said City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk: JAN GOLDSMITH, MAYOR KATHY McINTYRE, DEPUTY MAYOR ROBERT EMERY, COUNCILMEMBER DON HIGGINSON, COUNCILMEMBER TONY SNESKO, COUNCILMEMBER Each of the members listed is authorized to submit a separate argument or to join with other listed members or members of the public in submitting an argument. Section 2. That the City Council directs the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of the measures showing the effect of the measures on the existing law and the operation of the measures.
