A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING A ROAD NAME CHANGE FROM
SOUTH POWAY PARKWAY/SCRIPPS NORTH PARKWAY
TO SCRIPPS POWAY PARKWAY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 34091.1, the City Council may
change the existing name of a City street by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to change the name of South
Poway Parkway/Scripps North Parkway to the same name expected to be selected for
this roadway within the City of San Diego by the San Diego City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, that the name of South Poway Parkway/Scripps North Parkway from the
west city limits to its terminus be changed to Scripps Poway Parkway.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council
