A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THOSE CERTAIN
AGREEMENTS WITH THE POWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
CONCERNING MEADOWBROOK GYMNASIUM
WHEREAS, The Poway City Council and the Poway Unified School District
are desirous of having a gymnasium adjacent to Meadowbrook Middle School; and
WHEREAS, the District is the fee owner of the real property upon which
the facility will be constructed and agrees to lease said property to the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway agrees to construct the facility at its sole
cost and expense; and
WHEREAS, the City and District desire joint use of the facility.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Poway hereby approves
with the Poway Unified School District the following agreements for the
Meadowbrook Gymnasium:
1. Lease Agreement
2. Joint Use Agreement
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to do all things necessary and proper to implement said Agreements.
