A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY
ORDERING THE VACATION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR A
PORTION OF TEMPLE STREET SOUTH OF SYCAMORE AVENUE
(Vacation 92-04)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to summarily
vacate a certain public easement in accordance with the procedures provided in
Chapter 4, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, commencing at Section 8330;
WHEREAS, a right-of-way easement within the attached legal description
titled "Exhibit A" was dedicated to the City of Poway on Map 331 recorded May
27, 1887 in the office of the County Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
This summary vacation is made under the provisions of Chapter 4,
Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
2. The City Council hereby finds that the herein described right-of-
way easement is unnecessary.
3. The City Council hereby declares that the following described
right-of-way easement is vacated:
See attached legal description titled "Exhibit A"
The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to cause a
certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego in accordance with the provisions
of Section 8336 of the Streets and Highways Code.
PASSES, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting this 6t~day of )ctober, 1992.

Ail that portion of the Southerly half of Temple Street lying
' Northerly and adjacent to Lot 44 in Block 15 of Piermont, in
the City of Poway, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to map thereof No. 331, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, May 27, 1887, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northwesterly corner of said Lot 44;
thence N0°06'23"E 30.00 feet; thence S89°32'25"E 169.85 feet;
thence S0°06'04"W 30.00 feet; thence N89°32'25"W 169.85 feet
to the point of beginning.
