A RESOLUTION OF INTENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REGARDING INITIATION OF THE PREPARATION OF
SPECIFIC PLAN 92-02
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 316-320-35
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of the Poway Municipal
Code (Zoning Ordinance) provides for the initiation preparation, adoption and
amendment of specific plans in accordance with Section 65450, et. seq., of the
California Government Code (Article 8 Specific Plans); and
WHEREAS, Section 17.47.020b (Amendment) of the Poway Zoning Ordinance
provides that the City Council may initiate the preparation of a Specific Plan
in accordance with the Specific Plan Regulations of the City of Poway municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, the property subject to Specific Plan 92-02 as depicted on
Attachment 1, which is a 0.72 acre vacant lot, more specifically defined as
Assessor's Parcel Number 316-320-35 and said property is currently owned by D &
D Restaurant, Inc., according to the Tax Assessor's Office in the County of San
Diego, California.
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby deem necessary and desirable that
Specific Plan 92-02 be initiated.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby initiates the preparation of Specific Plan 92-02 for the property shown
on Attachment 1 hereto.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 8th day of December 1992.
