A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" ZONES ON MIDLAND ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 21458 and Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code
permits local authorities to establish "no parking" zones; and
WHEREAS, Poway Municipal Code Section 10.28.080 allows City Council to
prohibit or restrict parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain "no parking" zones
should be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 10.28.080
of the Poway Municipal Code "no parking" zones are established on Midland Road
in the following locations:
No Parkinq Zone
- Along the east side of Midland Road beginning 175 feet north of the
northerly extended curbline of Somerset Road, thence northerly a
distance of 127 feet, and
Time Limited No Parkinq Zone (No Parking 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through
Friday, School Days Only)
- Along the east side of Midland Road beginning 502 feet northerly of
the northerly extended curbline of Somerset Road, thence northerly a
distance of 60 feet.
This action supersedes and rescinds all previously approved parking
restrictions within the areas described above.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 19th day of January, 1993.
