A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A "LOADING" ZONE ON GARDEN ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 21458 of the California Vehicle Code permits local authorities to
establish "loading" zones; and
WHEREAS, Poway Municipal Code Section 10.28.190 allows City Council to establish
"loading" zones; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a certain "loading" zone should be
established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 10.28.190 of the
Poway Municipal Code, a "loading" zone is established on Garden Road in the following
location:
Loadinq Zone (Time-Restricted, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, school
days only}
Along the north side of Garden Road beginning 340 feet east of the easterly extended
curbline of Floral Avenue, thence easterly a distance of 257 feet.
This action supersedes and rescinds all previously approved restrictions within the
area described above.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California,
at a regular meeting thereof this 9th day of March, 1993.
