A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" ZONES ON GARDEN ROAD AT SUTTER MILL ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 21458 and Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code permits
local authorities to establish "no parking" zones; and
WHEREAS, Poway Municipal Code Section 10.28.080 allows City Council to prohibit or
restrict parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain "no parking" zones should be
established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 10.28.080 of the
Poway Municipal Code "no parking" zones are established on Garden Road in the following
locations:
No Parkinq Zone
- Along the north side of Garden Road beginning 10 feet east of the easterly
extended curbline of Sutter Mill Road, thence easterly a distance of 50 feet, and
- Along the north side of Garden Road beginning 10 feet west of the westerly
extended curbline of Sutter Mill Road, thence westerly a distance of 30 feet.
This action supersedes and rescinds all previously approved parking restrictions
within the areas described above.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California,
at a regular meeting thereof this 13th day of April, 1993.
