A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
OVERRULING ORAL OBJECTIONS AND ADOPTING FINDINGS AND RESPONSES
TO WRITTEN OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED ANIENDMENT TO THE PAGUAY
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the proposed Amendment to the Paguay Redevelopment Plan (the "Amended
Plan") has been prepared by the ?oway Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"); and
WHEREAS, on May 25, 1993, a duly noticed joint public hearing on the proposed
Amended Plan was conducted by the City Council and the Agency; and
WHEREAS, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed Amended Plan,
or the regularity of the proceedings, were given an opportunity to submit written comments prior
to the commencement of or at the joint public hearing, or to give oral testimony at the joint
public hearing, and show cause why the proposed Amended Plan should not be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard and considered all evidence, both written and
oral, presented in support of and in opposition to the adoption of the Amended Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby finds that all persons have had the opportunity
to be heard or to file a written objection to the proposed Amended Plan and the regularity of the
proceedings with respect to the proposed Amended Plan, and having heard and reviewed such
oral and written objections, the City Council hereby adopts the findings and responses to written
objections as set forth in the Attachment 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference, and determines that there are compelling reasons to justify adoption of the Amended
Plan as proposed, notwithstanding such written and oral objections.
SECTION 2: The City Council and the Agency have duly complied with all the
provisions, requirements and procedures of the California Health and Safety Code, Section
33000 et seq. relating to the preparation and adoption of the Amended Plan.
SECTION 3: The City Council, accordingly, overrules any and all objections to the
adoption of the Amended Plan.

PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of Poway, California, at a
regular meeting thereof this 8th day of June, 1993.
