Res 93-105RESOLUTION N0.93-105 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (GPA 93-02D) WHEREAS, arise to amend WHEREAS, the procedures WHEREAS, Amendment, GPA WHEREAS, Archaeological map; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may the City's General Plan; and Section 65350, et seq, of the California Government Code describes for amending General Plans; and the applicant, the City of Poway, has initiated a General Plan g3-O2D, amending the Resources Element; and the proposed amendment would replace Figure VI-4 "Map of Projected ly Sensitive Areas" to reflect amendments made to the original the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act to consider the proposed amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that prehistoric and historic resources were adequately discussed in the environmental impact report prepared and adopted for the 1991 update of the Poway General Plan and that the aforementioned revision would not result in any new significant impacts; and WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed General Plan Amendment will result in a map that properly reflects the distribution and archaeologically sensitive levels of land areas within the City of Poway. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does hereby amend the Prehistoric and Historic Element of the City of Poway General Plan by adopting Exhibit A Figure VI-4 "Map of Projected Archaeologically Sensitive Areas" as shown.
