A RESOLUTION OF INTENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REGARDING THE INITIATION OF THE PREPARATION OF
THE POMERADO ROAD/STOWE DRIVE SPECIFIC PLAN
(SP 93-01)
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of the Poway Municipal
Code (Zoning Development Code) provides for the initiation, preparation and adoption of
specific plans in accordance with Section 65450, et seq., of the California Government
Code (Article 8. Specific Plan); and
WHEREAS, Section 17.47.020 C (Initiation) of the Poway Zoning Development
Code provides that the City Council may initiate the preparation of, or amendment to, a
specific plan on property by resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby initiates the preparation of a specific plan for the properties west of Pomerado
Road north and south of Stowe Drive, totaling approximately nine acres, to establish
density and development standards for the ultimate development of the property under
the Residential Condominium zone.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 12th day of October, 1993.
