A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME AND THE CITY OF POWAY FOR THE
PART-TIME FUNDING OF A FISH AND WILDLIFE INTERPRETER POSITION
AND THE APPROPRIATION OF $33,333 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE
FOR SAID POSITION
WHEREAS, the City Council, on Febrary 8, 1994, approved the payment of
one-half salary of the Fish and Wildlife Interpreter position at Blue Sky
Ecological Reserve; and
WHEREAS, the salary payment was
Department of Fish and Game to retain
Ecological Reserve; and
contingent upon agreement by the

WHEREAS, the Department of Fish and Game has agreed to retain the
interpreter position at Blue Sky Ecological Reserve and dedicate 100 percent
of the positions time to said program for fiscal year 1993-94.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to execute the Cooperative Agreement with the State
of California Department of Fish and Game for the part-time funding of a Fish
and Wildlife Interpreter position for fiscal year 1993-94.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby
appropriate $33,333 from the General Fund in order to fund said position.

California, at a regular meeting thereof, this lgth day of April, 1994.
