A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF THE
SDG&E COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL INCENTIVE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has received and reviewed information indicating the City
could lower energy and maintenance costs by converting to LED lamps within its Lighting District,
Zone C (Traffic Signals); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it to be in the public's interest for the City of
Poway to purchase the Light-Emitting Diode (LED) lamps to replace the existing incandescent red
light traffic signals within the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves the terms and conditions as set forth in SDG&E's
Commercial Industrial Incentive Agreement, on file in the City Clerk's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway that:
1. The above recitations are tree and correct.
2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to execute the Agreement which will
be returned to SDG&E.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting this 24th day of June, 1997.
