A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING TIME-LIMITED RIGHT TURN RESTRICTIONS
ON ESPOLA ROAD AT EDEN GROVE
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code permits local authorities to
adopt by resolution measures regulating traffic by means of official traffic control devices; and
WHEREAS, Section 22101 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establishment of
turn restrictions at intersections in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 10.12.010 of the Poway Municipal Code allows the erection of turn
restriction signs at intersection approaches designated by Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that time-limited right turn restrictions should
hereby be established on Espola Road at Eden Grove.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section 22101 of
the California Vehicle Code, and Section 10.12.010 of the Poway Municipal Code, right turn
restrictions shall be installed on northbound Espola Road at Eden Grove. Said restrictions shall
be in effect 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., School Days Only, Buses Excepted.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meeting thereof, this 16th day of September, 1997.
