A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE SOUTH POWAY SPECIFIC PLAN
TO ALLOW OFFICE BUILDINGS IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK (IP) AREAS
SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT (SPA 84-01J J)
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of Title 17 (Zoning
Development Code) of the Poway Municipal Code provides the requirements for the
initiation, preparation and adoption of specific plans in accordance with Section 65450, et
seq. of the California Government Code (Article 8, Specific Plan); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposal to add "Corporate Office
(single tenant)" as a permitted use and "Standard Office (multi tenant)" as a conditionally
permitted use in the Industrial Park (IP) areas of the Business Park and has determined
that these uses are compatible with other uses permitted in the Industrial Park areas and
with the goals of the South Poway Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a properly noticed hearing to accept public input
concerning the proposed change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby adopts an amended Volume 2: Development Standards of the South Poway
Specific Plan on file in the City Clerk's Office.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 21st day of October, 1997.
