a RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE SOUTH POWAY SPECIFIC PLAN
TO ALLOW OFFICE BUILDINGS IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK (IP) AREAS
SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT (SPA 84-01 MM)
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of Title 17 (Zoning
Development Code) of the Poway Municipal Code provides the requirements for the
initiation, preparation and adoption of specific plans in accordance with Section 65450, et
seq. of the California Government Code (Article 8, Specific Plan); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposal to convert 15 acres of
land in the Parkway Business Centre from Light Industrial (LI) to Industrial Park (IP) to
accommodate known and potential office park uses; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a propedy noticed hearing to accept public input
concerning the proposed change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby approves Specific Plan Amendment 84-01 MM.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 2nd day of December, 1997.
