A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
OF CERTAIN ONE-FOOT WIDE STRIPS OF LAND IN PORTIONS OF
LOTS 64 AND 65, WESTGATE POWAY, UNIT NO. 1, MAP NO. 7791
WHEREAS, on the final map of Westgate Poway, Unit No. 1, Map No. 7791,
there was offered for dedication for public street purposes certain one-foot strips of land
at the easterly end of Cinchring Road, being portions of Lots 64 and 65 of said map;
and
WHEREAS, on said map the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego
rejected the offer of dedication of said one-foot wide strips of land as hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision Map Act)
Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer of dedication shall remain open and
may be accepted by a resolution at a later date; and
WHEREAS, said Section 66477.2(a) of the Government Code was referred to as
Section 11616 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California at the
time of said map recordation on November 7, 1973; and
WHEREAS, upon incorporation on December 1, 1980, the City of Poway
became the successor in interest to the County of San Diego on said offer of
dedication; and
WHEREAS, to extend Cinchring Road easterly for access to the subdivision of
Tentative Parcel Map No. 96-09, it is in the best interest of the City of Poway that said
one-foot strips of land in portions of Lots 64 and 65 of said Map No. 7791 be now
accepted for public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES
RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said one-foot strips of
land, and does hereby accept for public use for street purposes those
portions of Lots 64 and 65 designated "Portions of Lots 64 and 65
reserved for future streets" on the final map of Westgate Poway, Unit No.
1, Map No. 7791.
The City Clerk of the City of Poway is authorized and directed to cause a
certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.

California, at a regular meeting this 6th day of January 1998.
