A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 107 AND APPOINTING
THE DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
AS THE CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City of Poway, California, was incorporated on December 1, 1980, as a
General Law City of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 107 appointed the City Clerk to serve as the City Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to designate the Director of Administrative
Services to serve as City Treasurer pursuant to Government Code Section 34856.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway, DOES RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 107 is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. The Director of Administrative Services shall hereafter serve as City
Treasurer of the City of Poway.
Section 3. Compensation is deemed to be included in that of the Director of
Administrative Services.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California,
at a regular meeting this 28th day of July, 1998.
