A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING YIELD CONTROLS ON ORANGE BLOSSOM LANE AT MIDLAND ROAD
WHEREAS, Sections 21100 and 21351 of the California Vehicle Code permit local
authorities to adopt by resolution traffic control measures meeting the requirements set forth
under Section 21356 of the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 21356 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establishment of
yield signs in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 10.24.070 of the Poway Municipal Code allows the erection of
yield signs at intersection approaches designated by Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that a yield sign should hereby be established
on Orange Blossom Lane at Midland Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section 21356 of
the California Vehicle Code, and Section 10.24.070 of the Poway Municipal Code, a yield sign
shall be installed on Orange Blossom Lane at Midland Road.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meeting thereof, this 5th day of January, 1999.
