A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
GENERAL PLAN (GPA 00-0lA)
lEAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may
id the City's General Plan; and
',EAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government Code describes

~,EAS, the City of Poway has initiated a General Plan Amendment, GPA
modification of land use for approximately 10.77 acres of an 18.26 acre site

~,EAS, the application proposes a change in land use for 10.77 acres of the
,rcel from Residential Single Family-4 (RS-4) to Commercial Office (CO); and
',EAS, the Rural ResidentiaI-A (RR-A) land use will remain unchanged for the

~,EAS, the City of Poway held a propedy noticed public hearing in accordance
ifornia Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act to
request; and
',EAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan Amendment 00-
have a significant adverse impact on the environment and hereby issues a

~,EAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed General Plan
would result in a land use designation that is compatible and consistent with
adjoining commercial and retirement structures and businesses.
, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend
~oway General Plan Land Use Map of the Land Use Element for the above
operty from Residential Single Family-4 (RS-4) to Commercial Office (CO).
