A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING THE INTENTION TO VACATE THE PUBLIC ALLEY ADJACENT TO
LOTS 21, 22 AND 23 IN BLOCK 16 OF PIERMONT, MAP NO. 331
(Vacation 99-06)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway intends to vacate the public alley
in accordance with the procedures provided in Division 9, Chapter 3, Part 3, Section 8320
of the State of California Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the public alley adjacent to Lots 21,22 and 23 in Block 16 of Piermont,
Map No. 331 is a portion of an alley between Temple Street and Edgemoor Street; and
WHEREAS, the public alley was created for public use through the recordation of
the final map of Piermont, Map No. 331, on May 27, 1887; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the procedures provided therefor in said Chapter of the
Streets and Highways Code, a public hearing shall be held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, as follows:
The public hearing for the vacation of the public alley adjacent to Lots 21,22 and
23 in Block 16 of Piermont, Map No. 331, shall be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2000,
at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall in the City of Poway, 13325
Civic Center Drive, Poway, California.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting this 6th day of June 2000.
