A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
INITIATING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
POWAY MUNICIPAL CODE,
ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ZOA 00-04
WHEREAS, Section 17.46.020.B (Initiation) of the Zoning Development Code
provides that the City Council may initiate the preparation of, or amendment to, a change
in regulations of a zone by resolution; and
WHEREAS, at the June 1, 2000 City Council Workshop, the City Council directed
staff to prepare an amendment to the Zoning Development Code to allow the rental of
recreational vehicles and boats in the Community Business (CB) zone with the approval
of a Conditional Use Permit and to modify the vehicle uses in the Commercial Use Matrix
to have one category of use for vehicle rentals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby initiates proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment ZOA 00-04 in accordance with
the provisions of the Poway Zoning Development Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California, at a regular meeting this 20th day of June, 2000.
