A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY APPROVING A
REPORT AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING PROTESTS TO
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
Assessment District No. 2001-1 (Old Coach Road Water Line Project)
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 01-020 in the proceedings for the formation of
Assessment District No. 2001-1 (Old Coach Road Water Line Project) this City Council
ordered a Report prepared by the Engineer of Work under and pursuant to the
provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and in particular, Section 10204 of
the California Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer of Work has prepared said Report and filed the same
with the City Clerk, and said City Clerk has presented said Report to this City Council
for consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
Section 1: Said Report shall be and the same is approved, and the City Clerk is
directed to endorse the fact and date of such approval on said Report and to file said
Report in the office of said City Clerk.
Section 2: This City Council determines that June 5, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. and
13325 Civic Center Drive in the City are hereby fixed as the time and place of hearing
protests and objections to the proposed assessment district and the Report.
Section 3: Said City Clerk shall cause a notice of the passing of said Resolution
No. 01-020 the filing of said Report and the setting of the time and place for the public
hearing in form and manner required by Section 54954.6 of the Government Code of
the State of California. Said City Clerk shall mail, postage prepaid, notices of the
adoption of said Resolution and the filing of said Report, along with Assessment Ballots,
to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized county assessment roll or the State Board of
Equalization roll or who are known to the City Clerk. Said notices shall be mailed in the
time, form and manner required by Section 54954.6 and Section 53753 of the
Government code of the State of California and Article XIIID of the California
Constitution.
