SUBJECT: Acceptance of Citywide Striping (407-4330)
ABST_~_~CT
Upon final inspection of the project, staff finds the project to be complete and in
accordance with the standard specifications of the contract. It is recommended that
the City Council approve acceptance of the project.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds are needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 of the CEQA.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Formally accept the improvements.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to file and record a Notice of Completion.
3. Authorize release of the retention for the amount of $12,504.05, if unencumbered,
40 days after filing the Notice of Completion.

SUBJECT: Acceptance of Citywide Striping (407-4330)
BACKGROUND
On September 13, 1994 the City Council awarded the contract for Citywide
Striping to IPS Services, Inc. The amount of the contract was $89,668.47.
FINDINGS
Due to changes in the final quantities, the amount of the contract was
increased by $35,372.02 for a total contract amount of $125,040.49.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds
are needed.
