A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
RESPECTING AUTHORIZED OFFICERS DESIGNATED TO
EXECUTE PUBLIC SECURITIES, INSTRUMENTS OF
PAYMENT, AND INVESTMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 96-108
WHEREAS, the City of Poway California in conducting affairs of the City is
required to execute public securities, instruments of payment and investments; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate authorized officers to execute said
documents on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that authorized officers be
authorized to execute said documents by affixing a manual or facsimile signature in
order that the affairs of the City may be properly administered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby orders as follows:
1. That until such authority is revoked, the following positions are authorized
to sign and execute public securities, instruments of payment, and investments by
affixing a manual or facsimile signature on behalf of the City:
Mayor
City Treasurer
Director of Administrative Services
City Manager
Deputy City Manager
City Clerk
Deputy City Clerk
2. That Resolution No. 96-108 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 30th day of October, 2001.
