Attachment: Exhibit A - Resolution 86-135 pefl~y\pubJ nql. rpt 3 of 4 I~AY 9 1995 I'[I~M 11 TO THE CITY Of POWAY, MAYOR AND THE CITY OF POWAY STAFF, I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FINDINGS OF THE CITES REPORT CONCERNING MY FAMILY'S INVASION OF PRIVACY. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT I AM THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS EVER HAD THIS KIND OF COMPLAINT. I SPECIFICALLY REMEMBER WHEN THE SHEA DEVELOPEMENT CAME UNDER FIRE CONCERNING THE TRACT OF HOMES GOING UP AT POWAY OAKS. ONE OF THE 2 STORY HOMES WAS GOING TO DIRECTLY IMPACT THE NEIGHBORS EXISTING ONE STORY HOME. THIS ISSUE EVIDENTLY BECAME A MAJOR CONCERN AND WAS VOICED SO BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS HOUSE EVENTUALLY WAS MADE TO A ONE STORY OR ELSE WAS TURNED ON THE LOT TO NOT BE OF IMPACT TO EXISTING ONE STORY HOME. THE ONLY REASON I'VE BEEN TOLD WHY I DID NOT HAVE ANY SAY IN THIS MA~-rER IS THAT THIS ROOM ADDITION WAS UNDER 750 SF AND IT DID NOT NEED TO BE REVUED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IN OUR GREAT CITY AGAIN. I PROPOSE THAT THE STAFF MAKE REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT ANY UPWARD CONSTRUCTION HAVE TO COME THRU THEM AND THE PROPER NOTICES BE SENT OUT BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TO HAPPEN TO THEM. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT THEIR PRIVACY BEING INVADED ...... SINCERELY RIC & BARBARA DUDECK 12859 LUISENO DRIVE POWAY, CA 92064 619-673-1534
