ABSTRACT
Upon final inspection, staff finds the project to be in accordance with the standards
and specifications of the contract. It is recon~ended that the Redevelopment
Agency/City Council approve acceptance of this project°
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
An environmental review was previously conducted which determined the project was
_ exempt. No additional environmental review is necessary.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the budgeted amount. No additional funds are needed.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Redevelopment Agency/City Council:
1. Formally accept the improvements.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to file and re~ord a Notice of Completion.
3. Authorize release of the retention in the amount of $86,407.20.

SUBJECT: Acceptance of Construction of Poway Royal Mobile Estates
Electrical System Rehabilitation (5905)
BACKGROUND
On December 15, 1991, the Redevelopment Agency awarded a contract to Mel Smith
Electric, Inc. for construction of the Poway Royal Mobile Estates Electrical
Rehabilitation. The amount of the contract was $1,504,825.
FINDINGS
Due to six change orders and changes in the final quantities, the amount of
the contract was increased by $223,318.97, for a total contract amount of
$1,728,143.97.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
An environmental review was previously conducted which determined the project
was exempt. No additional environmental review is necessary.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the budgeted amount. No additional funds are
needed.
