Acceptance of the City Reroofing Project (1519)
ABSTRACT:
Upon fi na 1 inspection of the project, staff finds the project to be complete in
accordance with the standards and specifications of the contract. It is recommended
that the City Council approve acceptance of the project.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds are needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
- This action was not subject to CEQA review.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Formally accept the improvements.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to file and record a Notice of Completion.
3. Authorize the release of the retention for the amount of $24,316.30, if
unencumbered, 40 days after filing the Notice of Completion.

On August 23, 1994, the City Council awarded the

Due to three change orders and changes in the final quantities, the amount of
the contract was increased by $2,153.95 for a total contract amount of
$243,162.95.
