A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. M004
TO THE EXISTING LOCAL AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT
FOR FEDERAL-AID PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has been selected to receive grant aid to
construct a project which will improve traffic signal coordination and communication in
Poway; and
WHEREAS, Program Supplement No. M004, which authorizes expenditures in
the amount totaling $481,000 for the project, has been submitted for City Council
approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the project will benefit the
community by helping to mitigate traffic congestion and improve air quality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The City Council hereby approves Program Supplement No. M004 to
Local Agency State Agreement for Federal Projects.
2. The City Cot~ncil hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute said
Program Supplement and future Program Supplements.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meet;ng thereof this 19th day of March 2002.
