A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
ELI ASHER BALKIN
WHEREAS, Eli Asher Balkin has fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership,
service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Eli Asher Balkin has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Eli Asher Balkin has obtained 32 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills; and
WHEREAS, Eli Asher Balkin has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby commends Eagle Scout Eli Asher Balkin for his efforts and achievements
in Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 26th day of March 2002.
