A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
ANTHONY ROBERT OKAMURA
WHEREAS, Anthony Robert Okamura has fulfilled requirements in the areas of
leadership, service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Robert Okamura has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Robert Okamura has obtained 25 medt badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Robert Okamura has completed the community service
project demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby commends Eagle Scout Anthony Robert Okamura for his efforts and
achievements in Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 9th day of April 2002.
