ABSTRACT
On June 6, 1995, John and Donna Christy, Jr. presented to the City a claim for damages.
The claim was for flood damages incurred on March 5, 1995. The damages amount to
$5,000. It is recommended that the City Council deny this claim.

SUBJECT: Denial of Claim - John and Donna Christy, Jr.
BACKGROUND
On June 5, 1995, a claim for damages was received from John and Donna Christy, Jr.
The amount of the claim is $5,000. It is recommended that this claim be denied.
FINDINGS
On March 5, 1995, the Christys suffered property damage due to flooding. They
attribute the flooding to a storm channel that was not "free and clear" of debris.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
